About Us

Roxy Underhill 


Roxy, born and raised in Colorado, fell in love with dance at the age of 3 taking a ballet class at a local recreation center. All through school she continued her dance education at various studios, competing in everything from lyrical to jazz to hip hop. Roxy was captain of GMHS Poms and led the team to compete and win at NDA Nationals. While in high school she found her love for teaching while she began teaching children's hip hop classes at a local dance studio. Roxy continued her love of dance in college at Metro State University studying business management with a minor in dance. She recently danced with a Pro Dance Team in Denver. Roxy has also received her certification for Insanity, Piyo, and Turbokick. Roxy has two little girls, Kiyah (9) and Jazlynn (6) and can't wait to inspire dancers of all ages through Premier Academy of Dance.



Michelle Kast


Michelle was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. Since the age of 3, she has studied a variety of different dance styles including Highland, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Ballet. In conjunction with her studio training, she danced for her high school's pom team and coached the squad later on. Throughout her dance career, she has performed in a variety of dance showcases and has performed on Carnival Cruise Lines as well as at Disneyland and California Adventure. Michelle graduated from ULV in LaVerne, CA with a degree in Psychology, focusing on Child Development and the Child/Family dynamic. Michelle owned Sky High mobile dance company in Sacramento, CA before moving to Colorado in 2011.   When Michelle is not dancing, she enjoys spending time with her kids, Sierra (9) and Chloe (3).

Aleah Escobedo 

Instructor - Admin/Assistant

Aleah was born and raised in Colorado and has been dancing since she was 4 years old! She has danced for numerous competition schools, been a part of the Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, and was even the captain of her dance team in high school while being awarded a nomination for the All American Dance Team. After graduation from high school she became the Assistant Coach for her former dance team and led them to becoming grand champions in their final competition. She loves all styles of dance but jazz will always be her favorite! She is currently a student at MSU Denver and will graduate in December 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Dance. While at MSU she has choreographed several pieces and has produced multiple dance shows. She is thrilled to be a part of our Premier family! 

Hayley Hughet

Instructor - Preschool/Ballet

Hayley grew up in Arizona and fell in love with dance at the age of 3. She has extensive training from her local studios and university in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, pom and cheer. Growing up she was a part of a competitive dance team and her high school cheer squad. At age 16 she became coach of a dance team and led them to a victory in a national competition. Shortly thereafter she began to teach dance classes through her church and local Arizona dance studios. Hayley has over a decade of dance teaching experience and loves sharing her passion with her students. Hayley has a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and is currently a third grade teacher at Red Rocks elementary. She is excited to be a part of Premier Academy of Dance and can’t wait to help children flourish on and off the dance floor.

Sarah Heller

Instructor - Tap

​Sarah Heller started her dance career at the age of three at Peak Academy of Dance. She trained in classical ballet, jazz, modern and tap. At eleven she pursued training at Denver school of the Arts under mentors Alicia Karzcewski and Michael O’ Banion. She graduated from Arts Immersion in 2017 where she studied under Stephen Wynne, Kathi Crum and many other dance faculty. She has won student  choreography awards from Colorado Dance Education Organization and she graduated with Dance honors.  She has also performed with stars at sea on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines( 2011, 2012, 2015). Sarah is thrilled to be a part of our Premier family!

Kevin O'Keefe

Instructor - Hip Hop 

One of Colorado’s original Hip Hop teachers, Kevin has an extensive background in all Hip Hop styles. He received training from industry pioneers- Clyde Evans, Eric Finn, Quickstep and Rennie Harris. He has performed with Don Campbell Lock Jr., Electric Boogaloos, Lady Jules of the BeatFreaks and the late Gary Kendall of the Jabbawockeez.  Kevin is a former member of Motion UnderGround’s Hip Hop company EOM. He has been a guest artist at the Arena in Switzerland, The San Francisco Hip Hop Festival, the Colorado College Dance Festival, the Breaking Point in Montana, CU Boulder, CSU Fort Collins, Red Rocks community college and Front Range community college. Kevin now is bringing this unique flavor to many Studios in Colorado and is the Founder/Director of True 2 Form Dance Group. He has for years been spreading a fire about the history of Hip Hop and a vision for where it could go. At this time, Kevin is a member of Street Stylez b-boy crew, performing core member with Machinez Remainz popping crew, and Rennie Harris' Grass Roots Project which has just finished a small performance tour of the East Coast.

Marianne Joy 

Instructor - Toddler/Preschool/Tap

Marianne was born and raised in Massachusetts, South of Boston. She began dancing at age 3 and it has been her passion ever since. She received her Bachelors Degree in Dance at Springfield College in Western Massachusetts and went on to receive her Masters Degree in Therapeutic Recreation also at Springfield College. This satisfies another one of her passions, helping individuals with a disability and/or illness. This also gives her the opportunity to provide Dance Therapy. Marianne recently moved to Denver after living in The Washington DC area for 4 years. Along with teaching dance she is a preschool teacher and does Dance Therapy groups. Marianne does a variety of dance styles including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theater and Creative Movement. She is so excited to share her joy and love for dance with you all! 

Kim Brown

Instructor - Ballet/Tap

Kim began studying dance at the Joan Harris Centre at the age of five. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. She performed in countless productions from full-length ballets to musical showcases and has danced with the Moscow Ballet in their production of The Great Russian Nutcracker at the F.M. Kirby Center, Wilkes-Barre PA. Kim began teaching dance in 2011 after completing the teaching assistant program at the Centre. After gaining experience as a teacher, Kim began to work in the studio's office as an assistant to the owner & executive director, Jim Harris, where she aided in the production of over thirty performances throughout her five years of work. Her favorite style of dance to teach is Tap and she has enjoyed the opportunity to teach a variety of styles to students ages three to eighty-three. Kim is a graduate of Wilkes University where she majored in Biology and minored in both English and Women’s Studies. Kim is a Science teacher in Castle Rock, CO and enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two “fur babies”. Miss Kim is ecstatic to have found Premier Academy of Dance to call home after moving to Northern Colorado this past fall. 

Gia Ferrero

Instructor - Lyrical/Technique/Jazz

Gia was born and raised in the state of Colorado! She started dancing at the age of 3 years old and has been dancing ever since! For 15 years she competed at different competitions and conventions across the United States! Back in 2011, her dance team received 2nd place on America’s Got Talent. Gia's team is called The Silhouettes and have traveled and done professional work all over the world! Including, shows all over the United States, 19 shows in Ireland, performances in Poland and Canada. After Gia graduated high school, she started teaching and choreographing at different studios in Colorado. In 2016, her dance team went back and did a Christmas Special and a guest appearance on Americas Got Talent. Gia has recently graduated from Regis University in May of 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Special Ed Generalist. Gia plans to continue her training while still dance with the professional company The Silhouettes. Miss Gia has been a wonderful addition to the Premier family. 

Paris Farr

Instructor - Acro

Paris Farr attended the Cleveland School of the Arts where he was trained in Ballet, Horton, Graham, Non traditional partnering, African, Hip Hop, Jazz , and Break dancing. He also performed with the Y.A.R.D (youth at risk dancing) and Urban Dance Collective during his years at the school. He later attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts where he preformed with Joeffrey Ballet Company as a junior under study. His choreography won both gold and platinum reward at Urban Jams dance convention and Elite dance convention. He also had choreography performed at Disney Land. He taught at Streetside south hip hop dance studio in Littleton CO as one of two principle instructors for 2 and a half years. He also has choreographed for Belgium pop artist Timo Descamps music video titled More. He coached and was Head hip hop instructor with Peak Athletics Plus. Paris was a principle dancer in Exhibit M under the direction of Jacob Mora. Paris Farr currently is dancing with Davis Contemporary Dance Company, the artistic director for Alexa's Dance Company, Master Hip hop instructor for Synergy Dance just to name a few .
