Roxy, born and raised in Colorado, fell in love with dance at the age of 3 taking a ballet class at a local recreation center. All through school she continued her dance education at various studios, competing in everything from lyrical to jazz to hip hop. Roxy was captain of GMHS Poms and led the team to compete and win at NDA Nationals. While in high school she found her love for teaching while she began teaching children's hip hop classes at a local dance studio. Roxy continued her love of dance in college at Metro State University studying business management with a minor in dance. She recently danced with a Pro Dance Team in Denver. Roxy has also received her certification for Insanity, Piyo, and Turbokick. Roxy has two little girls, Kiyah (11) and Jazlynn (8) and can't wait to inspire dancers of all ages through Premier Academy of Dance.
Michelle was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. Since the age of 3, she has studied a variety of different dance styles including Highland, Jazz, Lyrical, Tap and Ballet. In conjunction with her studio training, she danced for her high school's pom team and coached the squad later on. Throughout her dance career, she has performed in a variety of dance showcases and has performed on Carnival Cruise Lines as well as at Disneyland and California Adventure. Michelle graduated from ULV in LaVerne, CA with a degree in Psychology, focusing on Child Development and the Child/Family dynamic. Michelle owned Sky High mobile dance company in Sacramento, CA before moving to Colorado in 2011. When Michelle is not dancing, she enjoys spending time with her kids, Sierra (9) and Chloe (3).

Aleah was born and raised in Colorado and has been dancing since she was 4 years old! She has danced for numerous competition schools, been a part of the Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, and was even the captain of her dance team in high school while being awarded a nomination for the All American Dance Team. After graduation from high school she became the Assistant Coach for her former dance team and led them to becoming grand champions in their final competition. She loves all styles of dance but jazz will always be her favorite! She is currently a student at MSU Denver and will graduate in December 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Dance. While at MSU she has choreographed several pieces and has produced multiple dance shows. She is thrilled to be a part of our Premier family!

Hayley grew up in Arizona and fell in love with dance at the age of 3. She has extensive training from her local studios and university in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, pom and cheer. Growing up she was a part of a competitive dance team and her high school cheer squad. At age 16 she became coach of a dance team and led them to a victory in a national competition. Shortly thereafter she began to teach dance classes through her church and local Arizona dance studios. Hayley has over a decade of dance teaching experience and loves sharing her passion with her students. Hayley has a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona and is currently a third grade teacher at Red Rocks elementary. She is excited to be a part of Premier Academy of Dance and can’t wait to help children flourish on and off the dance floor.

Sarah Heller started her dance career at the age of three at Peak Academy of Dance. She trained in classical ballet, jazz, modern and tap. At eleven she pursued training at Denver school of the Arts under mentors Alicia Karzcewski and Michael O’ Banion. She graduated from Arts Immersion in 2017 where she studied under Stephen Wynne, Kathi Crum and many other dance faculty. She has won student choreography awards from Colorado Dance Education Organization and she graduated with Dance honors. She has also performed with stars at sea on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines( 2011, 2012, 2015). Sarah is thrilled to be a part of our Premier family!

Michelle Burns began dancing under the direction of Rachel Brady at the Creative Dance Studio in Alton, IL. In 2016, she jumped further into the corn fields towards the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Psychology Minor. In her time there, she immersed herself in many avenues such as: teaching dance, yoga teacher certification, choreography, memory research, dance for camera and video editing, theories of psychotherapy, art promotion as the Krannert Center Student Association President, and finally performance in works by Renée Wadleigh, Rebecca Nettl-Fiol with Melanie Bales, Ohad Naharin with choreographic reconstruction by Omri Drumlevich and Zina Zinchenko, and many more. In her final year, Michelle’s self-choreographed thesis solo, an echo of a rerun, was selected to perform in the Informal Concert at the American College Dance Association (ACDA). Michelle is a James Scholar Graduate and recipient of University Honors, also known as Bronze Tablet, meaning she finishes her time at Illinois in the top 3% of the College of Fine and Applied Arts Graduating Class Of 2020. Now, Michelle is attending Naropa University in Colorado to pursue a MA in Somatic Counseling: Dance/Movement Therapy, as well as continue to move and make. She is excited to be a part of the Premier family and help children find their creativity and joy in dance!

Marianne was born and raised in Massachusetts, South of Boston. She began dancing at age 3 and it has been her passion ever since. She received her Bachelors Degree in Dance at Springfield College in Western Massachusetts and went on to receive her Masters Degree in Therapeutic Recreation also at Springfield College. This satisfies another one of her passions, helping individuals with a disability and/or illness. This also gives her the opportunity to provide Dance Therapy. Marianne recently moved to Denver after living in The Washington DC area for 4 years. Along with teaching dance she is a preschool teacher and does Dance Therapy groups. Marianne does a variety of dance styles including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theater and Creative Movement. She is so excited to share her joy and love for dance with you all!

Laura is a Colorado Native. She minored in dance at Colorado Mesa University and majored in Mass Communications. Laura’s background in dance stems from gymnastics, and then she transitioned into dance. She has studied all forms of dance but loves hip hop and contemporary. At Colorado Mesa she performed in several different dance styles including Hula, Ballroom Fusion, jazz fusion, house hip hop, and contemporary. Laura has been teaching since she was 16 from swim lessons to gymnastics and now dance. She loves to teach and share her passion for dance with others!

Stephanie was born and raised in Orange County, CA. She began dancing at age 4 when she immediately fell in love with the art. Stephanie grew up competing across Southern California at various studios, festivals, and concerts. At age 13 Stephanie decided to take her ballet career seriously and joined a small ballet company in Los Angeles studying vaganova technique. Wanting a wider range of technique she attended Huntington Beach Academy for the performing arts through high school majoring in dance, was an apprentice with Akomi dance company based in Los Angeles and continued to compete in festivals across the state. Stephanie has received several awards for her choreography and dedication to the art within the Southern California arts community as well as the New Prague Dance Festival which she attended upon graduating high school to represent the United States. Post high school she attended Cornish College of the arts studying a wide variety of classical dance techniques, and later attended Kansas State University to follow her passion of human anatomy and kinesiology. Stephanie moved to Colorado in 2018 with her husband, 2 cats and dog to set out on a new adventure and spread her passion of classical ballet.
